2009 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS will take place in Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
The nominees were announcing on August 4. Lady Gaga and Bayonne lead the pack with 9 nominations each. Followed by Britney Spears with 7, Coldplay, Ermine and Kanye West with 4 each.

On 8 September, announced MTV singer Janet Jackson will make a special appearance at the VMAs to pay musical tribute to his late brother, Michael Jackson and honor his career.
